After being laid off from work in 2019, Brian began making artisan wooden flags for family & friends. He also donated flags to veterans clubs and other charitable organizations. He started getting requests to make and sell them.

In early 2020, Brian suffered a stroke. During his rehabilitation, he contracted the corona virus. Following his stroke and illness, he was unable to work outside of his home, so he began making and selling Rustic Artisian American Flags.

Brian offers three variations: A traditional red, white and blue flag, a traditional flag with a Blue line to honor Police and a traditional flag with a Red line to honor Firefighters.
