I had a complete neck replacement surgery.. When I came home, I was in a brace and had to sleep on my back at an angle (so I wouldn't choke in my sleep). I love my pillow and my mattress topper. I have neck issues and shoulder problems. I have an expensive tempurpedic bed, and I think it was causing shoulder pain because it's so hard and dense. It's not a cure, however, the difference in pain from sleeping on expensive name brand pillows/memory foam pillows/multiple pillows to sleeping on my My Pillow is very noticeable. I'm on night number three and I can't begin to say enough good about this pillow. Over the last 10 years, I've purchased every pillow I could find that I thought would provide the right support for my neck. I bought a down pillow, a buckwheat pillow, a foam pillow, a synthetic pillow, and a memory foam pillow with absolutely no positive results. I suffered whiplash a few years ago. Then, I tore a tendon in my right shoulder (which I have nothing but trouble with).
